L’occitane Almond Milk Concentrate

I am really not that vain when it comes to my skin. I grew up in a hot and humid country and I didn’t have any issues having dry skin until I came here. Dry skin peaks starting fall then gets worse during winter then lasts through Spring. My skin is dry and flaky and I’ve tried several lotions but did not work.

I discovered this product 2 years ago. I was pregnant then and was looking for something that could help prevent stretch marks. I have read good reviews about it and some said the product works. So I bought it together with the Almond Shower Oil. It contains almond extract which helps in keeping the moisture and strengthening of skin. Also, this provides up to 48 hours of hydration.

The Almond Milk Concentrate only comes in one size (7 oz) and for me this lasts for about a month. It costs $50. The do have sale sometimes so you probably should subscribe to their e-mail. If you have the budget, buy this and you won’t regret it.  I highly recommend this product.

The Pros:

This is the only product that really works for my dry skin. After few weeks of using it, my skin is noticeably smoother and softer. No more dry and flaky skin. I love the scent and it stays longer on my skin. It doesn’t leave any oily residue on my skin. They recommend using  it twice daily but I only use it once day. I apply this every after warm shower when my pores are still open so my skin really absorbs the lotion.

The Con:

Probably for some, this really helped them prevent stretch marks during their pregnancy however in my case it didn’t. A little bit expensive.
