For some, it is not necessary to buy a baby carrier but for me it is. With a baby carrier, there are plenty of time to bond, snuggle and you can use my hands freely. It offers babies comfort and safety as well. You must find something that is appropriate for your baby’s age and weight and that is also comfortable to wear.
It is also important to find a carrier that promotes healthy hip positioning to prevent hip dysplasia or dislocation. The healthiest position for the hips is for the hips to fall or spread (naturally) apart to the side, with the thighs supported and the hips and knees bent.
